Raya Property Group was founded by Abdi Ibrahim. Like you, Abdi knows what it means to navigate life in the West while feeling the powerful, quiet pull towards home. Two years ago, he made the decision to return to Somaliland and put down roots here in Borama. He arrived with the very same dream you may hold: to buy land, to build a home, and to establish a future.

What he encountered was a market rich with opportunity but often confusing, informal, and, for anyone managing affairs from thousands of miles away, filled with unnecessary risk. He approached the process himself, buying plots, managing construction, and learning the intricate local systems from the inside out. Through this personal journey, a clear truth became evident: there was an urgent need for a service that bridged the gap between the Western expectation of professional, transparent service and the realities of the local property market.

Raya Property Group was born to fill that gap.

The name Raya, the Somali word for a flag, a banner, a standard, is our guiding principle. It represents the new benchmark we are setting for professionalism in the Somaliland property sector. It signifies our commitment to being a visible, trusted leader that you can rely upon.
